11th Annual VON GREAT COMMUNITY WALK in support of VON services across Middlesex County AUG 29th 2010. This is a pledge event in which participants can walk, run or roll, 2, 5 or 10 kms. Four community walk locations are available: Ailsa Craig Recreation Centre Park, Dorchester Community Centre, Longwoods Conservation Area, and Strathroy Seniors' Centre. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 9:30.<br><br>

 

Following the walk all participants are invited to join together at Poplar Hill Park for a celebration including a live band, a clown who makes balloon animals, a face painter, and a strolling magician. There is a complimentary chicken BBQ, cake and more!Non partici[pants may purchase BBQ tickets for just $8 each.<br><br>

 

The Walk is a family event, both individuals and teams are invited to enter. There is no entry fee or minimum pledge level. Every participant will receive a free walk t-shirt. <br><br>
