1st Mount Brydges Scouts
Scouting Mission:
The mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.

Registration Nights:
August 30, 2005, 7:00 - 8:30
September 6, 2005, 7:00 - 8:30
at the Mt. Brydges Community Centre

Beavers: for girls and boys who are 5 to 7 years old.
We meet every Tuesday from 6 - 7 pm at the Mount Brydges Community Centre.
Activities: "Fun on the Pond" games, stories, crafts, and camping. In May there is the Beaveree (an awesome adventure).
Cubs: for girls and boys who are 8 to 10 years old.
We meet every Tuesday from 7 - 8:30 pm at the Mount Brydges Community Centre.
Activities: Hiking, camping (all year round), learning skills that earn badges, KubKar races, games night, and crafts. And last but not least, there is an Area Cub Camp where you interact with Cubs from other Fourteen groups in our area.
Scouts: for girls and boys who are between 11 and 13 years old.
We meet every Thursday from 7 - 9 pm at the Mount Brydges Community Centre.
Activities: More advanced camping, nature hikes, lots of outdoor activities. Interaction with other Scout troops. There is canoeing and other water sports. Makings new friends, travel, and community volunteering.
Youth involved in Scouting enjoy being part of something special. Youth have the opportunity to grow mentally, physically, and emotionally through the programs being offered. Each youth is also able to see the progress they are making through special Achievement awards and merit badges that they are encouraged and assisted in completing.
