Child Seat Inspections are now done Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm-by Appointment only at the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Headquarters 299 Frances Street, Strathroy. Call Cst McIlmoyle at 519-245-1250. Appointments take one half hour and are teaching appointments, so the parent/grandparent/caregiver will be able to safely install a car seat.

Wednesday May 2, 2007 is the date for the 17th Annual International Emergency Response Day. This event is Canada’s largest Police/Fire/EMS display and is held for ONE DAY ONLY. A parade of marked vehicles leaves the Gemini Sportsplex on Adair Blvd in Strathroy to wind its way past area schools and businesses. The event is open to the public from 11am to 4pm and there is no admission charge. The Township of Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service sponsors the ONE DAY EVENT, the public can expect to see displays of vehicles, equipment, helicopters, Police dogs and other related equipment all in one spot. On August 15th, 2007 the Police Car Owners of America will be visiting Strathroy-Caradoc for a brief visit in the morning and again later in the day. The PCOOA is visiting Strathroy & Mt. Brydges enroute to the Talbotville Ford Plant. This group holds a convention In Sterling Heights, Michigan.
